Vitamin D3 and the oil of Coleus forskohlii add their own unique therapeutic dimensions. Boron is a relatively new addition and brings its PDE4 inhibition to the game! Essential oils were handpicked for their reputations in helping promote healing to skin conditions such as the above. The WONDROUS SKIN formula itself is chalk full of plants and oils prized for their properties that promote skin health. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR THE FULL LOW DOWN ON THIS AMAZING FORMULA!
"WONDROUS IMMUNESKIN" is unlike any of the products I have found for review claiming the same properties. All of them begin with "water" as the first ingredient, followed in some cases with a few nutraceutical ingredients and then chemicals/preservatives. In addition, the highest strength of Beta glucan I find is 1%; ours boasts a full 7% and in the form I prefer, Beta glucan 1,3-1,6 grown on Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast rather than oats or mushrooms.

NUTRITIVE BASE OILS
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (Olea Europaea) Contains polyphenol antioxidants that help prevent and repair damage to the skin, such as occurs in over-exposure to the sun.
Grape Seed Oil (Vitis vinifera) - Tightens and tones, non-comedogenic, great moisturizer for acne-prone skin. Rich in fatty acids that nourish skin cells. Contains proanthocyanidin antioxidants that diminish the sun's damaging effects and lessen free radical damage. Promotes wound healing. Most useful when fighting the ravages of aging.
Extra-Virgin Fractionated Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) - Prevents destructive free radical formation. Helps keep the skin from developing liver spots and blemishes caused by aging and overexposure to sunlight. Helps keep connective tissues strong so that skin doesn't sag and wrinkle.
Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum) - From pure expeller-pressed Sesame seeds. Naturally active in vitamins A and E and essential proteins.
ROOTS, LEAVES, FLOWERS, STEMS, BERRIES
Parsley Leaf (Petroselinum crispum) Very high in vitamin C, which may nourish the skin to reduce fine lines, scars, blemishes, and reduce pore size by stimulating production of collagen, necessary for cell reproduction and repair. Promotes faster grown of new skin. New skin doesn't typically contain damaged cells, so blemishes and unevenness are quickly sloughed away and replaced by smooth skin.
Red Root (Ceanothus americanus) Red root is astringent, producing a nice toning effect to the skin without drying. Native Americans used as a poultice to treat skin cancers.
Burdock Root (Arctium lappa) - Burdock root has been used extensively in ointments to treat various skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
Yarrow Flowers (Achillea millefoleum) - Yarrow infusions have been used to treat skin conditions such as eczema.
Lavender Flowers (Lavandula angustifolia) From the Latin 'lavare,' meaning to wash, was commonly used to bathe wounds, prevent infection and care for a number of skin ailments -- from insect bites to burns. It has soothing, antiseptic qualities that make it a perfect remedy for inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, sunburn and the like.
Sage Leaf (Salvia officinalis Tricolor) can help relieve itching and acts as an astringent.
Skullcap Herb (Scutellaria lateriflora) - Traditionally used for skin infection and inflammation.
Passionflower Herb (Passiflora incarnata) - Used over burns, in anti-aging creams, for hemorrhoid inflammation and pain.
Watercress Herb (Nasturtium officinale) - Very high in vitamin C among other vitamins and minerals. Used to help heal blemishes or pimples. Helps skin blotches and spots disappear.
Cilantro Leaf (Coriandrum sativum - Acts as a natural anti-septic and anti-fungal agent for skin disorders like fungal infections and eczema.
Cleavers (Galium Aparine) Traditionally used for psoriasis, eczema and other skin irritations. Cleavers salve is used for burns and scalds. Tightens loose and sagging skin.
Gunpowder Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) contains potent anti-inflammatory agents, reducing inflammation in the skin and, most importantly, having an inhibitory action on collagenase, a collagen-reducing enzyme that breaks down collagen. Since green tea helps to inhibit collagenase, the topical use of green tea helps to promote the health and quantity of collagen, thereby maintaining a firm and elastic skin. In one clinical trial is was shown that the skin had measurably more elastic tissue content after continuous application of a product containing green tea.
Green Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) Used for many years in South Africa to relieve eczema and other skin conditions when applied topically. Rooibos is rich in antioxidants.
Calendula Flower (Calendula officinalis) - Prevents free radical formation and protects cells from their destructive effects. Anti-bactericidal, anti-infective, heals wounds.
St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) - In a 2003 study reported in the journal Phytomedicine, researchers found that a cream containing St. John's wort was significantly more effective than a placebo in relieving atopic dermatitis. Traditionally used to heal burns and wounds.
Common Plantain (Plantago major) Its leaves have astringent, soothing properties and encourage wound healing. Often included in skin-healing salves, topically applied plantain will antidote the black widow spider bite, brown recluse, and any other insect sting or bite, due to it's incredible drawing power.
Chamomile Flowers (Matricaria chamomilla) Ideal for dry and sensitive skin. Naturally rich in properties that reduce redness and soothes sensitive skin that is irritated or inflamed.
Lemon Balm(Melissa officinalis) The tannins and polyphenols in lemon balm extracts have antibacterial and antiviral effects and are noted for speeding wound recovery time.
Rose Petals & Hips(Rosa canina) - Suitable for all skin types but especially valuable for dry, sensitive or aging skins. It has a tonic and astringent effect on the capillaries just below the skin surface, which makes it useful in diminishing the redness caused by enlarged capillaries.
Kudzu Root (Pueraria montana) - Helps stimulate the production of collagen, which makes up 80% of the skin's dry weight. That means a healthier, stronger, more elastic skin.
Jasmine Flowers (Jasminum polyanthum) - Reduces the production of oil on oily skin, aids in clearing acne. Used as a moisturizer for dry, sensitive skin and to sooth skin irritations.
Schisandra Berry (Schisandra chinensis) - Helps the skin hold moisture and become full and beautiful. Increases mitochondrial energy for a more youthful complexion.
Slippery Elm Bark (Ulmus Rubra) Native Americans used slippery elm in healing salves for wounds, boils, ulcers, burns, and skin inflammation.
Periwinkle Herb (Vinca minor) - Used as a remedy for various skin disorders.

Hazelnut Oil (Corylus avellana) Known for its astringent qualities and because of this, it is best used for those who have oily skin but do not want to abstain from using oils.
Safflower Oil (Carthamus tintorius) Highly moisturizing with an exceptionally high amount of oleic acids. Deeply soothing and moisturizing.
Apricot Kernal Oil (Prunus armeniaca) A wonderful oil similar to Sweet Almond but more suitable for sensitive and prematurely aged skin.
Tamanu Oil (Calophyllum inophyllum) 100% pure and cold pressed. Thoroughly researched, the conclusive evidence regarding its ability to heal damaged skin is overwhelming. Its benefits are notable for the treatment of scarring, stretch marks, minor cuts and abrasions, rashes, sores, and more.

Wondrous skin cream with essential oilsils
This cream works very well on a underbreast rash I occasionally experience. It was suggested it might help with toenail fungus. Too soon to tell. The texture is great - a little goes a long way - - and the scent is wonderful.

My skin solution
Smells wonderful, and a little goes a long way--a 2oz. container lasts me several months. It feels more like a cream than a liquid when applied. For my dry sensitive skin this lotion helped moisturize, reducing redness and breakouts. With healthier skin, in the last 4 months I've stopped feeling the need to wear makeup. :D

No More Itchy Eczema
My 10 yr old grandson has had eczema since he was an infant. Over the years we have used many salves, creams and occasionally when things were very bad a prescription steroid cream. The first time we used Wondrous Immune Skin he said it stopped the itching immediately and even the next day he told me he didn't even scratch in his sleep. What a blessing to finally give him relief. It IS truly Wondrous.

My gift from Heaven
I have suffered with perioral dermatitis for several years now. Each time I get a breakout I have to run to the Dr and I get put on antibiotics. I have been searching for years for a product that would relieve the burning, itching, and redness with hopes of not taking an antibiotic. I used the Wondrous Immune Skin and with one application I felt immediate relief of the itch and burn. With two applications, the swelling was gone. After 4 days, my skin is almost back to normal. I love this stuff and will continue to use it and consider it my little gift from Heaven!
