I am thrilled with this new formula to add to our Wondrous Skincare line of products. This is a one-formula-fits-all facial serum for acne & rosacea but also for aging, mature skin and problems such as eczema and psoriasis.
MEET THE PLAYERS!
ALOE VERA - Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, and healing - helping to address acne and promote the healing of acne scars. At the same time, aloe vera promotes collagen production and fights fine lines and wrinkles. Fractionated aloe vera gel is the base of of this facial serum- no water!
MSM - methylsulfonylmethane - organic sulfur - Boosts collagen synthesis in the skin. Has the ability to smooth skin and reduce blemishes/acne by increasing cellular regeneration. MSM is very good at controlling the immune system, particularly when it comes to dealing with chronic inflammatory conditions and diseases including rosacea, various forms of arthritis and of course, acne. MSM is a powerful anti-oxidant and natural hormone balancer that also targets abnormal pigmentation without effecting the pigmentation process or tanning mechanism of the body. MSM can also help improve skin's tone, reducing redness, easing sensitivity and treating other symptoms associated with rosacea, since MSM inhibits inflammation.
NIACINAMIDE - VITAMIN B3 - Vitamin B3 targets both acne and acne scarring and pigmentation! It has been proven to reduce inflammation in various scientific studies and one 8 week study discovered that a 4% B3 lotion reduced acne by 60% compared to just a 43% improvement in the subjects who used a 1% antibiotic gel (clindamycin). Another study showed topical B3 was very effective at reducing hyperpigmentation as it blocks the build up of melanin in the surface of the skin. In multiple chronic clinical studies, topical niacinamide (vitamin B3) has been observed to be well tolerated by skin and to provide a broad array of improvements in the appearance of aging facial skin (eg, reduction in the appearance of hyperpigmented spots and red blotchiness). In addition to previously observed benefits for topical niacinamide, additional effects were identified (improved appearance of skin wrinkles and yellowing and improved elasticity).
GRAPE SEED EXTRACT - Grape seed extracts contain an abundant amount of polyphenols, which are known to be excellent binders of collagen fibers within your skin. This helps to maintain the skin’s elasticity. Grape seed extract also has some mild astringent qualities, which is another reason it’s used as an ingredient in anti-aging cosmetic formulations. But because it’s non-comedogenic, it’s also used in products targeting oily, acne-prone skin. Grape seed oil benefits also keep skin hydrated, supple, and calm, which is what makes this versatile ingredient so central to the cosmetics industry.
GREEN TEA EXTRACT - Green tea extracts have been found beneficial in treating acne by reducing sebum, the overproduction of which is hormonal. the topical application of green tea extract seem to help prevent skin conditions like loss of skin elasticity, inflammation, premature aging, and cancer caused by exposure to UV rays.
RED VINE LEAF EXTRACT - Red vine leaves are harvested when they achieve a rich red color and have the highest content of antioxidant polyphenols. Their extracts are used medicinally for their circulatory effects, especially within leg veins. They reduce inflammation, stabilize the endothelial lining of capillaries and veins and promote their repair.
ROSEHIP SEED OIL - hydrates, moisturizes (locks in skin's natural hydration), helps exfoliate and brighten skin, helps boost collagen formation, helps reduce inflammation, helps protect against sun damage, helps reduce hyperpigmentation, helps reduce scars and fine lines. In addition, rosehip seed oil is packed with skin-nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids, which can help treat acne and related scarring.
CITRUS SEED EXTRACT - We use the full spectrum of citrus seed - not only grapefruit seed - these have disinfectant, antiviral and antiseptic properties, promoting skin health and healing. It also functions as a natural preservative in our skincare formulas.
VITAMIN E - Adding to natural, chemical free preservation.

Wonderous Facial Serum
This serum has been the biggest surprise I've had so far. It's light, does it job, and my skin hasn't had any negative reactions. I'm really impressed with the quality of all the products I've ordered from Rebecca!
