“Shrink that Thing!” – a Wondrous Hemorrhoid Remedy

“Shrink that Thing!” – a Wondrous Hemorrhoid Remedy

Posted by Rebecca Montrone on 6th Sep 2024

Several years ago I was talking with my friend Raymond Elias on the topic of iodine. He was very keen on the subject in general, and I always enjoyed hearing it roll off his tongue, pronounced “ee-o-deen” due to his British accent.

In this particular conversation he happened to mention that he read it was effective for hemorrhoids. I was intrigued and did some research that did validate that claim and informed me as to the appropriate dilution. My creative wheels started turning, and I formulated a very simple product of potassium iodide in fractionated coconut oil.

I called it “Shrink that Thing!” and immediately had the perfect client to try it out on. This man had been through a rough flare of ulcerative colitis, and although that was now under control, he was left with terrible hemorrhoids. He was using pain medication in order to get some semblance of sleep at night, and he was scheduled for a surgical visit the very next day to discuss having the hemorrhoids surgically removed.

I sent him home with a small bottle of the new creation and, to my delight, received this email from him the next day:

"I used the iodine oil last night and let me tell you, it's working!!! I can't say they were gone 100% over night, but I can comfortably say that they were at LEAST 50% shrunken and A LOT more comfortable. Last night I didn't even have to take pain meds just to sleep and I actually got a good amount of sleep! I've been using it twice a day, in the morning and at night and it's working wonders! Thank you so, so much!!!"

I was thrilled. This was back in 2018. As time continued on I recommended this solution to many others with good result.

FAST FORWARD! One day in February of this year (2024), we received a slew of orders for this product. So many, that I wondered if it was some kind of fraud. I called one of the customers to inquire, and he told me a Reddit feed had just come out talking about potassium iodide and hemorrhoids and my product, SHRINK THAT THING! My husband Dale went snooping and found the feed:

“got rid of my thrombosed external hemorrhoid that a doctor said I needed surgery for

Posting this to give hope to people struggling with hemorrhoids.

I have had an external hemorrhoid for over 3 years now. I recently got rid of it.

TLDR; i got rid of my quite large, external hemorrhoid that I've had for 3 years by using iodine.

EDIT: if you dont want to buy from that website, you can try buying pills of potassium iodide and mixing it yourself with coconut oil. potassium iodide is a form of iodine. I have no idea what the mixing ratio would be though. The ingredients on the bottle i bought says "cold-pressed coconut oil, potassium iodide", and that's it.

I've always had small internal ones that bled, but about 3 years ago I got one that was thrombosed and external from pushing too hard in the bathroom. It was the MOST PAINFUL thing I have ever had. I couldn't walk. I went to the doctor and I remember him specifically saying "that won't go down by itself, it's too big. you need surgery to remove that". He gave me a cream that didn't do a rat's ass to help with pain, and thankfully within a few days it got less inflamed.

After the inflammation went down, I was able to walk again, but i was left with an external hemorrhoid that was quite big, as big as a peanut m'n'm. For THREE YEARS. I didn't want surgery, so I just kind of ignored it. thankfully it never hurt really bad again after that. occasionally when I got constipated it would get a little red/inflamed and hurt a tiny bit. nothing like how it initially was though.

regardless, I hated having that thing on my butthole. I managed it with the typical advice for hemorrhoids; exercise, drink a lot of water, eat fiber from fruits and veg, espom salt baths, never push, etc. That made it manageable.

A couple months ago, I decided I didn't want this thing on me anymore, and I decided to look around online for ANYTHING that would possibly help shrink it. I read on another reddit post that Iodine could potentially help with shrinking it. I looked around online, and I found this one: https://shopwondrousroots.com/shrink-that-thing/ It's pure potassium iodide and coconut oil. thats it.

I thought, what the heck, it's $12. F it, ill try it.

I put it on before bed, and after ONE night, I noticed it SHRUNK!!! It didn't go away, but it definetly got smaller. I could not freaking believe it. It has been the same size for YEARS. and after one night it shrunk. I have been consistently putting it on since then, not every night, but sporadically.

and today was the day. that I woke up. And it wasnt there. my butthole looked normal for the first time in 3 years. I COULDNT FREAKING BELEIVE IT!!! I GOT RID OF MY HEMORRHOID THAT A DOCTOR SAID I NEEDED SURGERY TO REMOVE!!!

My point is: if you are suffering with hemorrhoids, internal or external, give iodine a try. PLEASE. It's like 16, 17 bucks with shipping. It worth a try. It doesn't burn or anything when you apply it, but it is a little messy because it has coconut oil in it though. Also, disclaimer, I am not affiliated with that company in any way. I literally googled topical iodine for hemorrhoids, i gave this one a try because it was pretty cheap. that's how i found that product.

i hope this helps someone. if you're suffering with external, internal, bleeding or non bleeding, just give it a try.”

What can I say? It is beyond rewarding to be able to offer something so simple and natural that works so well for such a devastating situation!

Since that initial blitz of orders, we continue to ship several bottles of “Shrink that Thing!” daily; all over the USA and to places as far away as Cypress, Luxembourg, Singapore, and Italy!

Maybe you’re a person who suffers from hemorrhoids, too, or you know someone who does. Give it a try!
