Product Description
I am primarily stocking St. John's wort in capsule form, believe it or not, for its antiviral properties; i.e., shingles and other herpes outbreaks. St. John's wort is helpful for preventing/treating not only shingles but the post-herpetic neuropathy that comes with it and can last for a very long time. I use it in my antiviral topical product for this purpose, but taking it internally adds to that benefit.
However, St. John's wort is a wondrous herb with very many health benefits!
Again, most of the herbs we carry are in tincture form from the whole plant or part of the plant that we extract ourselves, but St. John's wort is one of the few herbs that is better standardized to .3% hypericin, so for oral use of St. John's wort I recommend the standardized pill form.
